Math Class Offerings
Rivendell strives to offer a solid math program in addition to our core classes. Math Lab is an enrichment course offered for Grammar students through Rivendell. Dialectic and Rhetoric level tutored math classes follow a specific comprehensive curriculum and are offered alongside Rivendell classes, on an as-requested basis, dependent on enrollment.
Fees and Schedule: With the exception of Middle Grammar Math Lab, fees are payed directly to the math tutor. Courses typically take place during Monday or Wednesday afternoons, or on Friday mornings, to avoid conflicts with core classes and Science classes. Most levels achieve minimum enrollment and do run every year.

Students are placed based on ability rather than age.
Grammar Math Lab
Wednesday afternoons
cost: $150/year, billed on RSC invoice.
This Math lab has students at all different levels of math; it's a fun, 45-minutes of math enrichment. It is open to any MG/UG students. Encourages a love of math.

Pre-Algebra (Math 8)
Typically held Fridays, tutored by Cathy Reitz
Algebra I
Typically offered Mondays and Wednesdays
Geometry:
Typically offered Fridays
Algebra 2/Trigonometry:
Typically runs as a 2-year course, covering both Algebra 2 and Trigonometry concurrently. Tutored by Cathy Reitz, Mondays and Wednesdays.
